Help Shape the Future of Candy Crush

We’re looking for US-based Candy Crush players to take part in an upcoming online research study for King, the developer of Candy Crush.

What’s involved?

If selected, you’ll take part in a 60-minute online interview via Zoom with a researcher.

The interviews will take place between September 23 and October 9, and you’ll be able to choose from the available dates and times that suit you best.

Because the researcher is based in the UK, interviews will generally take place during the morning or early afternoon in the US.

You’ll also be asked to complete a short three-question video task before and after your interview.

What’s the reward?

Participants who successfully complete all parts of the research will receive: $100 USD

Who are we looking for?

We’re interested in hearing from a range of Candy Crush players, including people who are newer to the game, have recently returned, or play regularly.

You do not need to consider yourself an expert player — we’re looking for a variety of experiences and playing habits.

Video responses

As part of the research, selected clips from your pre- and post-interview video responses may be edited into a research montage for King.

Your name will not be shown or attributed in the montage, but your face, voice and comments may be included.

You’ll be asked to give your permission for your footage to be used in this way before taking part.
